HOME Edge
Edge – 7th-8th Grade
Purpose:
To bring students together in a safe place to be themselves, form healthy relationships, surround students with leaders that care about them, learn about God and how to respond to him, help our community, and have fun.
Superheros are invading Edge. For the Fall Semester, Edge students are going to be exploring a variety of superheros and how they relate to Jesus and Christianity. We wil learn as superheros do that they are born out of tragedy, have a purpose, weaknesses, and strengths. We will also be comparing Jesus to a Star Wars Jedi by focusing on: Discipleship, Holy Spirit, Mind, Gifts, and Temptation.
Throughout the winter and spring we will be working through a variety of mini series focusing on servanthood, relationships, apologetics, and courage. For a complete schedule please refer to the "download" section found at the bottom of this page.
